Dining at Ocean Grill

 NOTICE: YOUR RESERVATION WILL HAVE TO BE CONFIRMED. IN THE MEANTIME IT WILL REMAIN AS TENTATIVE UNTIL YOU RECIEVE AN EMAIL WITH THE CONFIRMATION.  ONLY ACCEPT RESERVATIONS 58 DAYS PRIOR TO REQUESTED DATE.  

Offering three seating times a day for guests to enjoy: 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM, with a closing time of roughly 5 PM, we encourage all of our guests to take their time while enjoying their meal and our scenery. If you wish to get here earlier than your reservation's time, feel free to jump in any of our boat pick up times. We are open Wednesday through Monday, and closed all day on Tuesday.

NO PARTIES BIGGER THAN 12 PEOPLE ARE ACCEPTED. PLEASE RESPECT THIS LIMIT, SERVICE WILL BE DENIED TO PARTIES THAT DON'T.   

PLEASE NOTE A FEW IMPORTANT PIECES OF INFORMATION AND GO THROUGH OUR FAQ PAGE BEFORE BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION:

       1. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 ARE NOT ALLOWED AT OCEAN GRILL.

       2. WE MAY ASK THAT YOU PLACE RESERVATION DEPOSITS THROUGH A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. 

[NOTE: We may implement the PayPal deposit system without further notice. If you are asked for your PayPal info during the reservation process it means that you where charged for a deposit to secure your reservation and we'll issue you your refund upon your arrival to Ocean Grill! If you where not asked for your PayPal info during the reservation process it means that no charge where made and no further action is needed. This fee will also be refunded for cancellations placed at least 48 hours in advance. If less than 48 hours, the cancellation fee will not be refunded. Same policy applies for changes to you reservation.

      3. OCEAN GRILL IS NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. 

[NOTE: All guests must be capable of getting in and out of a boat, on and off of a dock, up and down stairs and or a ladder, and, when applicable, manuevering a trail to the beach and back. Only you can make an accurate assessment of your own physical condition please be advised. 

Ocean Grill is not responsible for any injuries during your visit to the restaurant. If you or anyone in your party have mobility problems we strongly advice  you not to venture to our restaurant. ] 

       4. OCEAN GRILL ACCEPTS CASH ONLY.

[NOTE: We prefer pesos, but will accept USD when necessary.]

        5. DRESS CODE IS CASUAL AT OCEAN GRILL.

[NOTE: While you can wear whatever you'd like to Ocean Grill, we encourage all of our guests to dress casually and comfortably. Ocean Grill is surrounded by lush jungles and an inviting, crystal-clear cove with a pristine beach. Many of our guests choose to explore the landscape before departure to Boca de Tomatlan after their meal. Please bring your bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, and bug spray to ensure a relaxing experience! If you plan on hiking into the restaurant, please wear shoes fit for hiking.]

      6. HOW TO GET TO OCEAN GRILL. 

[NOTE: Ocean Grill is only accessible one of two ways. By hiking or by boat. We are a 30 minute drive South of Puerto Vallarta to Boca de Tomatlan and a five-minute boat ride, from Boca de Tomatlan to our restaurant. We offer a complimentary water taxi service for all Ocean Grill guests from the beach at Boca de Tomatlan. To catch the Ocean Grill water taxi, please arrive to Boca de Tomatlan at your appropriate pick-up time: for 11am seating arrive at 10:50am, for 1pm seating arrive at 12:45pm, for 3pm seating arrive at 2:45pm. The hike is a 40 minute walk on the jungle and it may be challenging for some. Water, hiking shoes and bug spray are strongly suggested.]

      7. ALTHO VERY RARE, WEATHER CONDITIONS CAN GET UNUSUALLY ROUGH IN WINTER SEASON.

At Ocean Grill your safety is always first and we may not let you on and/or off the boat if we consider we are placing you at risk. We may also close the restaurant for the day in extremely rough conditions, or ask you to take the hike to our restaurant instead of using the boat. 

     8. NO SEPARATE CHECKS AND MUST PAY IN CASH ONLY, EITHER usd OR PESOS.  NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT.

We at Ocean Grill do not make separate checks, with no exceptions, please be advised.
